RADICE finds its underlying beauty and simplicity in its structure. It is the bringing together of what appears the front-half of a traditional four-legged stool, with a single back leg, the "root".
This robust yet simple and refined furniture family was thought to be used in cafès and restaurants, which is why it offers great flexibility - both in use and in the variations proposed.
MEDICI is conceived as a low chair with a comfortably reclined posture. Its generous dimension gives the chair an embracing confidence.
"The expression of craftsmanship here lies in the careful execution, the choice of wood, the finish, the perfection.
The gently carved wooden pieces are held in place by bent metal rods - while wood remains the main actor, the metal parts play a fundamental role in the construction.
The design for the FACILE came about as a result of our quest to build a bridge between the product ranges in the Mattiazzi collection.
