Gaetano Pesce, designer, sculptor and architect
Gaetano Pesce, Italian designer, sculptor and architect, has died at the age of 84 at his home in New York. Born in La Spezia, Italy, in 1939, he was one of the world's leading creatives. We remember him through the words of Marva Griffin, Founder and Curator of SaloneSatellite
"I would like to thank Gaetano, a lifelong friend, for what I was able to learn from him. I am very saddened by his passing, he leaves us with a huge void. Last year, very generously, he held a talk at SaloneSatellite with young designers, inspiring and giving them advice. A final message from him that I am sure they will treasure."
